Dean Coe established Dean M. Coe Associates, an executive recruiting firm, in 1983 to address talent shortages in financial services and real estate investment and development industries. The firm has also been retained by leading cultural institutions undergoing multi-year expansion projects to provide managers and directors for their capital projects.

As a specialist in human capital issues, Dean continues a 30 year practice advising private and public sector clients.

Prior to launching his recruitment practice, Dean was a principal and founder of Words and Pictures Corporation, a multi media production and advertising firm in the Kansas City area. The private company produced award winning electronic and print materials for several state departments of special education, federal education entities and national non-profit organizations as well as private sector clients in energy, manufacturing, financial services and communications.

Dean’s background also includes several years in non-profit administration in the greater Boston area.

He has always been an active community participant serving as a trustee or board member in the private sector and with municipal and private non-profits. His resume of community involvement activities demonstrates a lifelong commitment to “giving back.”

Dean has been a member of and supports the Code of Ethics of the International Coaching Federation and the Coaches Training Institute.  A resident of Cape Cod, he is an avid sailor and kayaking and hiking enthusiast.
